Loyalest collects data necessary to operate the loyalty program: shop information (domain, access token for API calls), customer identifiers (Shopify customer IDs), order IDs and order data (for points and redemptions), points balances and ledger entries, rewards and vouchers, wishlists and lists, product reviews submitted through the app, and referral codes and referral activity.
We use this data to run the loyalty program (earn and redeem points, tiers, rewards, referrals, wishlists, reviews), prevent fraud, and provide support. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We retain data while the app is installed and for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above. We respond to Shopify compliance webhooks: we provide customer data when the store requests it (customers/data_request), delete or anonymize customer data when requested (customers/redact), and delete all shop data when the app is uninstalled (shop/redact, 48 hours after uninstall).
Data is processed and stored using our hosting provider. If data is processed outside the merchant's region (e.g. in the EU), we use standard contractual clauses and safeguards as required.
